Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Greetings !

    Hi all!
    After scouring this website for the last two weeks I have decided to join finally. I have found this site to have an incredibly large amount of frequent users and heaps of useful information, not to mention the lack of negativity..that's a first!

    I recently ordered my Golf R (26/11/2010), and was informed that it would arrive late March, although this might be me being optimistic! After getting overly excited I went out and purchased all the stage one APR parts, so I will be looking for all the user reviews I can get.

    I look forward to conversing with you all!

    Welcome to the forums mate.
    I don't really know what you mean about getting hte stage 1 apr parts as that is just an ecu recode......
    I assume you mean you got the intake and downpipe?

    I think March might be a bit optimistic.

    At least you got a white one.

      Ahh my mistake! You are correct, CAI, TBE & the ECU. Yeah I'm thinking March was a little farfetched..I was excited enough to believe anything when I was signing that paperwork :-|
