Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • WA New Mk1 Owner

Hey guys, recently bought a Mk1 Gti Cab and was referred here by the previous owner. It is my first Golf. It's got quite a bit of work to do to get it up to scratch but I'm real keen to get the ball rolling and get this car looking and running how any great car should.

Edit: Thanks guys, here are the photos as requested. Can take more if you want, any angles or certain things you want photo'd, just ask

She's abit dirty, washed now though : )

Can see a very tiny one. Easiest way is to upload photos to photobucket. It will then give you the links to the photos. You want to pick the one that is [img] [/img] or something like that. Copy them then paste them in as text and it will show the photos here
