if you are like me, at some point you decide to modify your ride, then somewhere along the way you hear yourself saying ''oops, have i gone too far this time?" well that is my reality at the moment. I own a 96 Audi A4 1.8T, In the process of giving it a full make over, so i came across a 79mk1 Golf, 1.6 5dr, sweet little car, clearly not been driven for years, straight as a whistle. will post pics later, snapped it up for $400, 2 new tires, new fuel pump and battery and drove it home(suckers don't know what they lost). Since owning this 2months, flushed all old fluids, new boot strut, new front shocks, coil overs on the rear,(supposed to be lowered...liars) bonnet cable, Unit3 4-2-1 headers and 2"straight through, Lukey high flow muffler, opted for mild steel to keep my spending down but regret that, mk2 booster, due for tune up this w/end. great little car, not even my main ride and now i don't want to sell it (never did) also getting treated to a respray from Davey Blasting and painting, freebie from the big brother... Mate. applying for new job to justify keeping both toys.
