    Hi all,

I recently bought my first VW (a 2007 MY08 TDI DSG EOS) and am looking to join a local community to share experiences with. All my previous rides had been Japanese so this is quite a change for me in terms of driving feel and trim level. Please don't ask me which breed is better because I just got the EOS like 3 weeks ago so I really shouldn't be jumping to conclusions!

Anyhow, its great to be in a local VW forum!

P/S: I don't see many posts regarding the EOS here. Does it mean that its (1) not popular in OZ or (2) most EOS owners don't know about this forum?

Welcome to the forum, the Eos is a great ride, I'm certainly enjoying mine.

No, there are not many Eos drivers posting on here, I guess by comparison there are not all that many around and it's not a car that appeals to most of the younger people who seem to be in the majority on the forum.

Having much in common with the Golf, there is plenty of information available to you on this site even if you may find it in other than the Eos forum.

    Enjoy

      Welcome to the forums mate.
Definitely look into an ecu remap to boost the power/torque figures if you want a bit more performance.

The Eos isn't overly popular here from what i can tell, probably becasue of it's premium price and Australian's desire for function over form.
It is a nice car though, and the folding hard top is a nice extra.
