Golf GTI Delivery Times and MY2011
Hey guys,
Long time reader first time member and poster. Great Site.
Bought a new Golf GTI in late Sept. To get the deal past my wife I had to get a MY2011. My dealer has advised that they will not start production of the 2011 model until Jan 2011. Now I thought this made sense but trolling through the posts it appears the 2011 models are being manufactured from around July and the MY 2011.5 will start around now.
Can someone let me know if I am being led up the garden path by my dealer or I have I got it wrong? If this topic has been posted in the past my apologies but I have searched.
She has advised my delivery date is approx May June 2011.
Ordered white 5 door DSG GTI. No options etc.

PS took one for a test drive a couple of months ago...what a car!!
