Hi team_v,

Ordered a Golf GTi white 3dr with sat nav and bluetooth

driveaway 42500 with free use of a car during servicing

Now i have to wait!

How long is the wait?

was ordered on 22/10/2010

the contract states expected delivery date as 1 april 2011.

I have been resisting calling the delaer again to ask if there was any update on the car. although on the day i purchased he said it has been entered into the 'system'

should i chase up more?

I wouldn't bother asking for an update until January.
It takes a month or so on the ship and then a 2-3 week transfer through all the customs/compliance/dealership processes.

So it is unlikely that they can give you an update with real information until december or january.

Can't believe it's a 6 month wait now, lucky mine was only 4 months.
