Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

    RNS510 vs ALPINE 502e

    Hey vw audiophiles,

    I bought an alpine 502e and install last week and just noticed I can get that rns510 off ebay for the same price that I paid for the alpine. I purchased a 07 passat wagon the other day with a broken cd player so need a fix.

    Swallowtail has kindly answered my q, but I'm putting it out there...

    Should I stop the install on Monday, sell my 502e and buy the RNS on ebay for a similar price?
