At last back in a VW after my Scirocco got wrecked in '89! Why did they make such a mess of the new Scirocco? The Mk2 was a great car, even the non-GTI which was all I could afford way back then.
Now in a MkV 2.0TDI. Tried the GTI, but with nearly 200km a day to travel the TDI made more sense & the torque pushed out by the TDI makes it every bit as much fun as the GTI.
Now I just need to get a tow-hitch & electrics without breaking the bank....
