    Welcome to the forums mate.
    What car do you drive.

Just so you know, you have to install washers and a self levelling system for the HID's to be legal.

    Any pictures for us?

      Jetta 147 2.0 TSI.

"washers and a self levelling system", I only had human wash system and manual leveling system. Have to admit not completely legal. Would be interested to know how you did it.

I haven't done it becauee the cost is prohibitive to legally install HID's after purchase of the car with halogen bulb housings.
I just upgraded my halogen bulbs to a higher output and they work fine enough for my needs.

Hopefully you don't blind anyone with the HID's and can find a way to get it all cleared.

Yeah, it's not only expensive but also impossible(almost) to install all these components after market.

I used to own a car with factory fitted HID. IMO, washer and leveling system is just gimmicks. The auto leveling system only adjusts the headlight when I starts the car, which I can do with the dial fitted next to the light switch. Most of the washer system without wiper fitted will only make situation worse. Imaging taking out the wiper blades from you wind screen wash system? Imaging spray detergent liquid onto your wind screen without wipe it off?

I don't want to start a topic being talked over and over again. Put legal issue aside. HID kit fitted within projector house and properly aimed should be ok. Just my view.
