Just got my R so thought I should actaully join up to the forums

so far its been a great car, only regret is not getting 19" wheels as the 18"s some how look smaller than 18"s on a GTI.

Sell the wheels to someone with a GTI that wants to update (that design looks old!) and get yourself some shmick new shoes

yeh, I think I will give it a few weeks and see how I feel, if it still bugs then I guess its time to start looking at wheels.

still wondering if its the wheels or the ride high that makes the R not look as nice on 18's as the GTI's do.

To work 18s properly you'll want to be fairly low. Coils wound down well low
If that's not you, do the 19s all day every day
