NSW Newbie - Going from Golf GT V to Tiguan

Greetings all,

Just found this forum when doing research on a new Tiguan. I currently drive a Golf GT, but am now selling it to get a Tiguan. I love my Golf, but a knee injury means I need a car that is higher off the ground, so cue the "Golf on steroids"!

Welcome to the forums mate.
The Tiguan is essentially a Golf GTI on lifted suspension with the 4Mo AWD system of the Golf R/R36

What spec are you going for?

i had a chance to drive the tiggy not only on a couple of occasions during test drives, but also at the advanced driver day thingy....

everyone was impressed at just how nicely the tiggy drove- not like an SUV at all... very nimble.
