I've ordered a new Golf R, my first VW and it's being built week 38 (Monday 20 Sept 2010)

How long will it take to ship?
When yo you think I'll be driving her?

Those current R owners, ....Should I be excited??? Best say YES, it's too late now.

Sorry to say this but by all accounts, you'll be disappointed... you should have bought a Mk4 Bora v64mo.... but then again, i am a little biased and very envious!!

Ignore the other 2, they seem to be suffering "R" jealousy!

I went to the VW Advanced Driver Training Day and got a hot lap in the Golf R...you my friend, will NOT be dissapointed!

What did you end up ordering options etc?

Sounds like a driver day is what i should attend.
The spec of my R is: Rising Blue, 5 door, 6sp manual, leather seats, Sunroof, Sat Nav, Bluetooth, MIDI, Dynamic Audio plus and a set of roof racks for my surf board!
