Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    New to VW - R36 Wagon

    Hi All

    I've always had Aussie made cars and have just made the switch to VW with my recently ordered an Icelandic Grey R36 wagon with pretty much everything (Nav, auto tail, rear camera, sunroof, dynaudio, adaptive cruise, tint).

    Its about a month away and cannot wait.

    I'm coming out of an E series HSV senator so looking forward to the extra refinement of this car.

    I know they are on run out with a new model due in 12 months or so but the car is too good to wait for.

    Great choice of car and colour.

    You'll never look back after converting, i never did!

    Any plans to modify or will you keep it standard and just enjoy?

      I did want the Biscay but there werent any available and they aren't making any more (until new model I guess), but very happy with my choice now - hopefully still will be when i get it!

      Probably standard for the moment but would be welcome to suggestions!!
