    G-day All,

Currently own a MY06 WRX but looking to purchase a MY08 or later Golf R32 if I can find a nice one. They seem to be few and far between currently in Perth, have found a couple on carsales, but the majority of cars that I like with the specs I want (DSG, Sat Nav, Leather, Sunroof optional) are over east!

Has anyone from here purchased a car from the East and shipped it over to Perth, what was your experience like?

    Cheers

    Matt

    Hi Matt,
I purchased my car from Adelaide about 4 yrs ago and had it trucked over for about a grand with TNT. I paid a little bit extra to make sure it was enclosed as well.
    Good luck in your search.
    Cheers

      G'day Matt,

I bought my S3 from a n ozaudi.com forum member in Qld, and roadfreight was around 2 weeks and $1600.

i'd recommend looking ex east as the range is around 9 times as many for sale, so you get a far bigger choice, and prices are typically cheaper, which pays for the roadfreight.

Get yourself a respected mechanic to do a full inspection for you and you dont even need to look at it yourself
