Hi - been lurking on the site for a while - have got a 2.0l diesel Golf Mk5 and getting a new one being delivered tomorrow.....

Ordinarily that would be something that would keep me awake with excitement but its going straight on the market (will put an ad up here shortly). Its basically a brand newie we got through insurance following the Perth hailstorm but change in circumstances means we will just buy back the old one which is perfect for what we want.....

just be aware when contemplating buying back your old one, if it is storm damaged, you might not be able to get comprehensive insurance for it and be limited only to 3rd party.

therefore you will be driving an unisured vehiccle, which may be an issue for financing, or if you want to take a risk on your cash that youve parted with.

so check with your insurance company before you commit
