Just joined forum, so hello to all.

A little about me,

I have just ordered my first VW!
I currently drive a Mazda 3MPS, which is at end of its lease, and I wanted something that would be as fun to drive (if not more) and nice to travel in as I do a few miles each year.

So after test driving all the "hot hatches" out there, I decided on the Golf R.

now I have to wait till end of January for it to arrive.

And that date isn't guaranteed, of course.

so I look forward to future Drive days with the BrisVegas members and learning more about the VW family of vehicles.

You go manual or DSG mate?

DSG, of course!.lol.

The MPS is manual, ive had enough of clutch pedals for a while.

Heh, if its good enough for F1, its good enough for me.

only went with a couple of options - Sunroof and MDI.

test drove cars with a nd without ACC, and didnt think it warranted the extra $1500.
I mean if I was going to be using it for track days, maybe, but most of my driving is highway miles.
