Hi all,
Although I wonder who actually reads this section apart from the moderators!
My first car was a 1600cc Beetle, my first new car was a Golf and my first racing car was an elfin formula V (NG - wasn't that a misnomer looking back on it).
After many years of driving and racing many different types and brands of cars I am about to replace my 4wd with a Golf 118TSi and my wife's Astra convertable with a new Black / Orange Beetle.
The only problem being in Aus is the availability of a vehicle in country with the options you want in a colour you like (especially when teenage daughters can't seem to work out how long a car is or bother to look behind for obstructions) ....
I hope this forum can answer some vexing questions ....
