QLD in love with the tiguan

My first post so go easy...just purchased a 2009 tiguan 125 petrol auto. had it for about 2 weeks and it has renewed the love affair that I had with a vw beetle with a rear oval window back in the 70s'. This tiguan is special

the tiguan is a great car, just a question though my wheels are 16'' is there any benefit to increasing the size as i have read on this forum ....any help would be great.

Performance wise adding bigger wheels probably wont do a whole lot, maybe a bit more grip if you go wider? could affect it for the worse though if theyre too big. Will make the car look nice though

Hey thanks for that.....yeh really pleased with this little beast....also curious about these chips from apr where it increases performance...just wondering does it affect the vw warranty????.....when I bought the car was told that a chip was available but as long as they didnt know ???

still bloody nice car....brings a smile to my face...just gotta work out how to stop the wife from driving it????

The APR ecu remap is amazing, it makes the tig so much better to drive.
It will only affect the warranty if VW can link it to the fault, however i believe it is also hidden from their systems.

Might pay to pm Guy_H as he knows all about it (resident APR person)
