Hey guys,
Earlier in my life I had been a devout VW man (originally from South Africa), and have owned all the GTi's made between 1984 & 2005 i.e Mk1 -> Mk5. Lately I have been led astray by things with RWD/4WD & big turbo's.
I'm looking to get back into a VW, and I am having thoughts about starting a project Mk2 Gti to use as a daily. It would also serve as my track day backup for when the thing with big turbo's gargles its brakes or chews its pistons. Searched the net and found this forum.
Look forward to sharing, chatting and hopefully contributing on here.
