Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • Hi from Mauritius.

Hi I am from Mauritius and owns a Golf GT TSI. I came across the very interesting site while looking for parts ans advice.

Anyway I love cars and tuning. My previous ride was a Honda...CIVIC, great ride had a lot of fun.

My actual ride is also nicely done up with a lot of OEM parts for the interior ans also for exterior mods. I will post pictures once I get used to the various sections. I have the full turbo back Miltek exhaust, BMC CDA INTAKE and stage 1 BLUEFIN.

I am very happy with that ride as iit is economical and also powerful which is an unusual combination...

It is a pleasure to join you guys and girls on a great site.

    Welcome morisboeuf
I can just imagine your Golf TSI punting around your island road in grand style and the even more winding ones up into the hills. Your volcano behaving itself lately?

      Thanks rory,

I can see that some of you know our beautiful Island. Yes it can be fun at times when there is no traffic but otherwise the best times to drive around is late at night or very early morning.

      Volcano is dormant...untill nest time.
