Thanks for what looks like an awesome community and forum that I look forward to being involved in.

I own two VWs - an '08 Passat; TDI DSG and a '07 Golf GTI - APR.
Had this little gem since new - manual with leather and UHF. People think it's a Police car as it has the two aerials and is debadged. It's amusing listening to Channel 40 on the road and hearing about 'the white VW candy car'! Had it tuned with an APR chip and performance filters - 188kW. I love how it pings past XR6 Turbos and all the 8s at full noise, I enjoy annoying those sorts of blokes on the road!
This is my 'sensible' car, amazingly economical, I still believe it makes its own fuel (diesel). On the longer trips I am attaining around 4.7-4.8l/100km with myself and 100kg of luggage and the aircon on. Thinking of getting Harding Performance in Brisvegas to chip it up soon. Very happy with it, and extremely comfortable. Bought it second hand from NSW. It has been optioned with Leather and a premium sound package.
I ended up here on the forums looking to share and gain knowledge about our cars and to meet new people.
