    directions please?

i would like to know were a general discusion or hints and tips thread are?
so here is my story briefly
i have just been given a Mk1 by my father-in-law she is in a bit of a state but at a brief glance she is certainly salvagable.

lolz as i cant get to her for a few weeks (she has fencing, wire, pipes and other sundries around her) i just need some tips advise etc in what to look for or things that would need attention first

i would also love to know what she is, she is a Mk1 2 door with hatch and a sunroof i cant seem to find any info on what build type etc she is and i cant get under bonnet, was just wondering if any one can shed somelight

also does anyone have a list of 80's colours the Mk1's came out in?

im hoping this is going to be a 12 month total rebuild, with the intention of keeping her 80's

    cheers guys and gals

    Chris

You will need to get under the hood to find the vehicle id number, its stamped on the RHS strut turret top or have a look at the rego papers if any.

There's a few Mk1 luvvers in the west that you can get info and bits from, hope to see ya around.
          Lots of MK 1 Scirocco's...

If it aint a MK 1 then it must be a donor car ??

          Cheers,
