VIC newbie!

Hi all,

I've been 'lurking' for a few days on vwwatercooled and have to say this looks like a very friendly and knowledgeable forum.

I used to own a Mk4 GTI 5 spd and am currently looking at getting out of my MY06 Forester and into either a V or VI GTI. I'm missing the fun car to drive!

I want a manual and they are so hard to find new, everyone seems to be into the DSGs So now its a case of waiting and searching or jumping in for a new mk6.... i only drive on weekends, so not sure I can justify that expense decisions decisions
