Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    VIC Hello from another noob

    hi guys
    I am a late starter...after years of driving a gutless SUV, I have just bought a 2005 Golf GTI. I love it. Just had the ECU remapped for a few more HP, now focussing on the stereo.
    I am looking forward to meeting some of you around the traps, and getting advice etc.
    Where do I join the Melbourne club?

          Thanks guys! Look forward to meeting.

          Isn't it funny how you drive around seeing other Golf GTIs and wondering if they are chipped, and what mods they have? Saw a red one with APR sticker on rear, and thought "aha"!

            Thats the beauty about these cars... no one will ever expect the balls that come from them... specially the suckers in syklines and their gf in the front seat, who see nothing but your tail light after the lights go green!
