ACT Hello Everyone

I'm new to the forum so just want to say a quick hello. I had a mk4 golf, mkvgti and now I'm am in a dilemma -- should I go for a mk6 gti or mk6 golf r?

I've driven both and they are both fantastic to drive but haven't decided which way to go.

Anyone experienced the same dilemma?

Mk6 GTI imho.

The R is nice but the GTI is more "usefull"

theres a whole forum on gti v r - check it out... i went the gti - i couldnt get my hands on an R to test drive but ive heard the awd is awesome - theres a cost v benefit involved obviously

You must admit, it's a nice dilemma to have?

Agree with the everyday usefulness of the GTI. The R probably need a few track days once in a while to maximize it's value.
