SA New to the world of VW

Hi all, made the treck over to victoria to pick up this nice GTI



Some of you may already know of this car, used to be VWJunkie's from tassie.

I originally came from the Jap side of things (R31 skylines to be precise)



But after 4 years or so of driving around in cars with locked diffs and always looking over my shoulder for police I was getting pretty sick of it.

Then along came this GTI. I once owned a Kombi and ever since I had always been intrigued in volksies and so swaped my hi powered silly sideways skyline for this neat hatch

All I can say is it's nice to drive a normal car again!

Do we get good cruise turnouts here?

Been on here for 3 years now, R31SC turned really gay with too many 16 year old wannabe drifters!

Last cruise (a while ago now) we had about 10 or so cars which isnt bad.
Once we get some good weather again another will be organised and there has been a heap of new SA members so hopefully pump the numbers up a little. Small cruises are better anyway, quicker and less people getting lost
