NSW new but old

I dont know what my previous registration was, but anyways we got 2 golfs a mark3 and a mark 5.
great cars.

Been out to see Matt (loon) a few times with the wifes car.

anyways - I'll bore you with my problems.

The wifes car (1994 GL Auto) stopped today, as if the ignition turned off. it just died on the spot.
It woudnt start (wind over), but the hazard lights worked.
When I turned up, I tried it and it started ok. Plenty of battery, it wound over fast and just fired up as usual.

Also its starting to use water, I have done a look around, I think it may be leaking from inside the firewall (the water heater?) I dunno..

Can someone recommend a fixer for these things? My preferred mechanic closed shop.

Maybe its trade in time..
