Howdy,

Purchased myself a new (used) car today, to sit along my turbo Pulsar.

Introducing my new MK5 Golf GTi

Picked her up today and i love it!

Comes with all the usual stuff, plus sunroof and xenon’s. 3 years warranty was a good plus.

Not used to the reverse gear yet, still putting it in 6th gear when i want to reverse.

Only plans i have for it are to add a bluetooth hands free kit, I've been reading the Fiscon Plus unit is the way to go? If anyone knows where in Melbourne i can get one.

I'd also like something that plays MP3's rather than the boring old CD. I don't want to change anything, so is there maybe something that can be plugged into the current unit that would let me for example let me plug my iPhone into it and play music off that? Failing that I'm probably going to have to settle for a FM transmitter.

I plan to keep the car in stock condition, I'm over the modified scene, and that's what the turbo Pulsar is for.

check the console box for an Aux input, you can play the mp3 through that, just select aux on the cd button

So i had a look at the center console and the glove box and could not see anything that resembled an AUX input. I had a read through the car's user manual and couldn't find mention of it either.

Does anyone have a picture of what I'm supposed to be looking at?

It's an 05 model if that helps.

I had a good look around and couldn't see anything. I googled it and i read somewhere that the 06 model didn't come with an AUX input, which would mean the 05 wouldn't of either.

Quick update, Purchased some Euro Premium Plates and got them fitted yesterday.
