Hi everyone,
My name is Jia and I live in Mascot in NSW. I arrived here in Australia about 2 and half years ago from the UK and now I live and work here for a large telco company. Recently, I thought I'd get myself a car and test drove a few Mk6 GTIs and was trying to get on the end of the financial year sale. Unfortunately I didn't make it as all the available cars with the options I wanted were gone. Then, one of my mates told me that the R was available! So after some hard soul searching and a test drive at Barloworld Mascot I decided I wanted one.
Tried to buy one from Mascot but sadly the vehicle they said was available at their Melbourne dealership wasn't in the end. Luckily, I was able to find one at Barloworld Glen Waverly in Victoria, paid my deposit straight away and finally picked up the car two weekends ago. The dealership kindly few me plus a friend to Melbourne and paid for the petrol back to Sydney which made for a nice drive back to break in the engine over 1200km.
Now I'm a proud owner of a united grey 5 door Golf R with DSG and leather interior.
