Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

            Ok, here's a few pics...

Ur-S6, called 'The Henchmobile'.....suitable for carrying around several evil henchmen in a hurry....

            'Loretta The Jetta'....before

            ...and after!

My two old 8valve Mk2's.... 'Christine' & 'Carrie'...

            Old 2.0 8valve Mk1, which I raped for parts.....

Another old Mk1 Campaign, which I sold on as a resto-project......still rotting away in the owners drive.....shame....

My last Jetta diesel.....sorry I sold this one........ran on a sniff of diesel...

Two freebie Mk1's I picked up a while back.....one's gonna be a 1.3 on bike carbs, may drop a VR6 in the other.....they're mangy.....but rust-free..........which is a big thing in Ireland where it rains all the time!!!!

I love the MK2 Jetta,as it was the first new VW product which I owned, and it was fantastic.

Mine was a 1988 in South Africa,my sister in law had a 1992.

                  I then moved onto 2 Jetta A3s,or Ventos,and then a Jetta A5.

Maybee will have a Jetta 6 one day in the future ???
