Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    VIC Howdy!

    Hi there,

    I'm from Melbourne and have a 1999 VW Transporter TDI.
    I found this forum via google as im having some problems with my van.

    If i drive it for 60min and stop and do whatever it won't start again for 20min or so.
    It sometimes does it, other times not.

    Now it won't start at all and the glow plug light will not come on.
    It turns over will just not fire.
