Hi all, name's Eric, been driving and loving my new Skoda Octavia RS wagon (TSI) for about 10 weeks now.... the smile just doesn't fade, unlike traffic in the rearview!
I'd been following the threads on this forum for some months prior to my purchase, getting the low down on your experiences with certain VAG vehicles... never owned a euro before, grew up no a diet of mitsubishis and toyotas really.
I have 2 young kids so a hatchback was out (Golf GTi would have been the go!) and the more I read/heard about the RS, the more I was impressed... after 2 test drives (both TSI and TDI) I was hooked! There was just no way I was goig to look at anything else.
It has the practicality and load space I need with the performance and build quality I was craving. It's 110% thoroughly wicked through corners and a belter when you plant that right foot! I've never lost so much as a point off my licence but don't reckon that'll last much longer!!
