newbie///2003 A4 1.8T.....but a slight hissing sound??
Hi everyone, recently bought a clean as B6 A4 1.8T form a Audi dealer. Car is excellent inside and out.....but.........has a slight 'hissing' sound like a vacuum leak kinda of thing when i accelerate...then on cruise it is not existent...have seen a number of threads in the USA and OZ which offer that it is 'normal' to here this and some that say it is a turbo issue?? Car is still under warranty from the dealer and woudl appreciate a second opinion. Engines purs and does not miss a beat. Plenty of power on tap although I am thinking up installing a chip upgrade..Does this really take the output to around 165kw from the factory 114kw or so?? amazing. Thanks a bunch.
