Newly arrived in WA from NZ.

Left my original no-mods '87 GTI 16v in the shed on stands, awaiting my return, in the meantime it will sit and... appreciate.

Searched for Golf GTI in WA on carsales.com.au and came up with ONE. Highly modded blue beast, not my cup of tea.

Have had MK2 Golf GTIs since 1990, never got more technically sophisticated than k-jet. Am looking for a run around, anything interesting from VAG out there?

Perth doesnt have the volume of cars that you get over east (let alone NZ!).
I've seen that GTI on carsales, wayyy to modified and will never get rego lol.

Considering selling my Bora if that takes your fancy...
