Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    NSW New MK6 GTI owner :D

    Hello to everyone on VW Watercooled,

    Am a proud new owner of a MK6 GTI. Was never planning on owning one but when i saw the advert for the EOFYS at Volkswagen i thought i would pop in. I had my eyes on the 90tsi or 118 tsi....but no stock in manual.....

    It took me less than 2 minutes to like and want the GTI due to some over persuasive friends..a week later ..i am the proud new owner of GTI and never been happier !

    Congratualtiosn mate, they are a very enjoyable drive.

    What specs did you go for?
    Any pictures of the beast?
    My Tiguan TSI APR Stg2 + RPF1's

      Photos will be uplaoded very soon, just going in for a wash then photoshoot.

      for 39k i received:

      2010 MKVI Golf GTI
      6spd Manual
      Sunroof
      MDI
      Mats
      full on road costs.

      i assume that it is a pretty decent/good price. ??

      Mind you it was the very last manual gti they had.
