Heya everyone,
On Friday i pick up my MK6 GTI with the following options:
Vienna Leather
18" Detroits
MDI
DSG
5dr in Carbon Steel
Unfortunately as the car was already on the way and not a custom order, I could not get Dynaudio which is a shame as love my car audio but do not particularly want to modify the car with an array of audio gear, this may change..
I am coming from a 2005 WRX STi, so down on power a bit but the finish of the VW is nicer and not to mention I do not like the new WRX.. Would have loved an R but where does the spending stop? ha!
Looking forward to an insurance premium that is ~$600 less than the STi and my first brand new car.
I ordered my custom Euro plates for it yesterday and some brackets and covers from Lakin Plates over in Tasmania - service is second to none with these guys!
Also looking forward to my first European car..
Anyway good to be on here - looks like there is some valuable information around.
