New (in Nov) Golf GTD owner

Just signed up to the forum. Looks to be a lot of quality info and users on board.

I recently put in my order for the MKVI GTD which is "4-5 months away". This will be my first VW and replaces my outgoing 96 MR2 (an interesting change of rides to say the least).

Let the waiting commence!

Congratulations on the purchase and welcome to the forums.

The GTD's went pretty well at teh driver training day, the exhaust note was a little louder and had that nice rumble to it.
Have a read of the diesel section and get to know about the DPF.

Would love to see a custom code dpf delete on one of these things.

I did some reading about the DPF last night and it now scares me a little. I too would like to see a custom code DPF delete, but not on mine!
