Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    VIC Hey VW fans

    Hey VW enthusiasts,

    I am looking to buy a near new hot hatch and have narrowed my choice down to 2 alternatives. A VW Polo GTI or Fiat Punto Sport (1.4 turbo or 1.9 turbo diesel) - I will make a more detailed post in the relavent forum and look forward to your responses.

    Welcome mate.

    Plenty of mods can be done on the Polo GTI.

    I like the Fiat Punto but is there many tuning mods for them locally?
