hey ppls. just jumped out of a skyline into a mk4 gti and im looking to rev it up some

any and all suggestions im after.

basically im in melbourne and im planning to do intercooler, bov, exhaust, cold intake and then a reflash but dont really know where to start, what i can do myself and what i cant. and the bits i cant where do i go?

Welcome mate.

as my alias might suggest, I ran a GTI (MkIV-3 door) whilst living in the Middle East. I'd start with the exhaust and COI. Not sure whether the re-flash is the only way to go, as I know others who have recommended the KO3a or KO4 turbo upgrades also..

Personally my 18" wheel upgrade was the most dramatic, but I found the damm 'rubber-band' tyres were too thin on Dubai's cr*ppy roads, so maybe 17'' are a better option ??

cool. thanks for the food for thought.

so ive gone and checked out the k03 and k04 and it seems like an expensive way to ring that last 5% out.

anyone have any suggestions for places to get parts ie intercooler, bov etc
