Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • QLD new mk6 wagon owner

    Hi all,

Just throwing the 1st post up. Picked up a mk6 wagon in black last week. Love the car, think otherwise of the dealership, Austral VW. They gave me the dealer installed swirl option for no charge, getting the run around from management who clearly don't give a f**k bout customer service.

At least I found the one decent guy in the Service Dept who knows what customer service means.

Yeah I should of read here 1st....

Hello and welcome! Congratulations on the new car, I really like the Mk6 wagons (although would do a Mk5 conversion on it). What spec did you get? Any features?

It's a shame to hear about your poor experience with Austral. Let's hope you find another dealer that will leave a better impression on you.

Check out the events section, would be great to see a Mk6 wagon come along to a meet/cruise
