Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    WA New R36 owner/s, first VW.

    Hello all!

    Picked up a 08 R36 wagon today in Biscay Blue.

    Ordered it through a yard in NSW and after all the messing around it finally turned up today.

    What can i say we are super happy, its my wife's car to taxi the 2 kids in, we have always had jap imports, still own a R34 skyline sedan (now my race car) and also have GU Patrol we head out and get dirty in.

    Looking forward to chatting to like minded people.

    Literally have only just got home and its been raining all day so excuse the pic's she's a little dirty, will get more later!

    Spooky! One of those passed me on the Freeway heading towards Perth, same colour as yours. It was either late last week or early this week. What a handsome looking set of wheels, congrats and welcome to the Forum.

        You'll have the fastest wife in the neighborhood now
        The R36 is probably the best looking wagon on the market at the moment

          Bet you my wife is faster than yours
          Couple of weeks until my R36 sedan arrives
          It's sitting on the wharf in Fremantle now

              Thanks for the kind words guys!

              Yeah the wife is loving it, certainly quicker then her old skyline.

              The number plate is her way of keeping me out of her car's i think...
