Took delivery of new Tiguan two weeks ago after a 6 month wait.
2lt Diesel, Mountain Grey, Park Assist, Ipod connection and bluetooth, off road, leather sports upgrade, rubber mats, reversible boot liner, 18inch NY wheels, tinted windows, bixenon (?) headlights (which I love)
After 6 months of waiting, our car arrived with the panoramic sunroof, which we did not order or want! So the dealer threw in extended 3 year warranty to convince us to take delivery of it (and we did not pay for the sun roof). Basically we optioned up the Diesel because we wanted a top of the line car but didn't want an automatic!!
Am still learning how to use all the features, including getting used to the thrust of the turbo (came from a Holden Astra previously). Can't believe how quiet the car is for a Diesel! Love the automatically dimming rear vision mirror and automatic wipers on the windscreen.
The electronic handbrake takes a while to get used to, but I love the anti roll button - love the fact that it works forwards and backwards!!!
