WA hello- my first post

Hi all. I have been browsing this forum for about a week now- wish I had of found it sooner as it is a fantastic source of information. Beats browsing the net for the latest on the Golf mkVI.

I was test-driving pretty much anything out there with a 2 litre motor... and then I drove the Golf. Ordered a 118TSI in early march and am still waiting- told it would be delivered to the dealer late May/ early June. I can't wait! (manual, candy white).

From what I've read here, looks like I won't be disappointed!

No service from Mazda across the road? Did you buy from Osborne Park VW? If that is so I understand- was considering buying a Mazda 3 SP25 (they were on special for about the same price as the Maxx sport) and didn't like the way I was treaded buy the sales staff. I walked across the road to VW and (after waiting a little bit I must admit) was seen to in a friendly fashion. The salesman was a little busy at the time, so just handed me the keys to a 118TSI and let me test drive it by myself! It goes without saying that when I returned to the dealership I had a rather large smile on my face...

It seems some people here have had a poor experience at Osborne PK VW for various reasons. I found it ok... just wasn,t overjoyed by the after-sales lady. Was sent on a little guilt trip for not wanting after-sales additions to the car.

Still waiting for it though! (ordered 11/3/10, delivery ?June. 118TSI manual)

yeah it was osborne park vw, mazda were pretty busy on that saturday... the purchasing experience was quite good, was amused by the after sales girl as she couldn't quite explain how paint protection worked

Who are you with? I work in Rockingham at a pump manufacturing/servicing company. Chances are if you're in the mining industry you will have heard of us.
