me and my 77 rabbit
hello, this is my 77 rabbit that i just recently bought. The previous owner did an engine swap and put a 88 gti 8v engine in it that has 76,500 on it, that is the only real major upgrade he did to it. I would really like to continue the project and add performance parts from the control arms to the air intake. Any suggestions on suspension, steering and shift linkage components would be very helpful, thanks. Oh and does anyone have any info about "Raceland" Coilovers? Raceland Full Coilover Kit for VW Golf and Jetta Mk1

welcome mate!
Raceland coilovers are "hot tuning" coilovers. Same company.
I run them in my mk1 and they are great for going low. Not too bad on the ride quality front either as long as you dont wind them all the way down
got some pictures of your Rabbit?VW: it aint just a car, its a way of life

thank you! the gentleman who owned the car before more took excellent care of the car and kept it garaged for most of its life. And everything works on it, even the clock where the tach normaly is and the AM only radio lol. I do eventually want to change out the dash, but im having trouble finding anywher that has any

thanks everyone for the positive feedback, its getting me pumped to start workin on her. Its hard to find a low profile bumper thats legal here in the states, especially California. And this may be a dumb question but, are alot of golf and rabbit parts interchangeable for this particular year? Bumpers for example.
