While considering Golf purchase (And I AM going to buy one)
Reader wrote to Daily Telegraph (Sydney) re failure of Lambda probes. (In car section, Friday edition)
Claimed had them replaced three times.
And that VW replied due to "Dirty fuel"
Was given prominence in Tely' car section, with a big picture of Golf
This was for previous model, reader was considering new mark 1V
However, is it possible, due to dirty fuel, and Lamda probe failures, this is causing
the present massive failure of latest TST Golf?
That is, can a lambda probe malfunction, (due to dirty fuel) cause the engine blow up problem?
I guess I should change my order to diesel after all, but love the 7speed DSG and smoothnes of the 118TSI
There are very few outlets with R108 fuel in my area.
