  • Yo Mother Dubbers

    Hello

Just bought a '91 GTI, my first in Australia. It is sweet (-: 159,000 k's and imaculate inside and out.

I have owned a '96 mk 3 GTI and a '89 Corrado in the UK and had a '70 Kombi in the States.

    Cheers

      Thanks for the welcome!

Yeah, I can't believe how slow it is! I thought it was f*cked so I took it to a garage and got it looked at, full inspection service, new plugs and an air filter got it to go a bit better but it's still not like a Euro GTI, ah well looks good though!

Might have to look into a VR6, do you know anyone good in Adelaide who could do it?

        Welcome mate.
Not many places in Adelaide would have a VR6 to put in, but it might be worth giving Volks Torque a ring, 8382 0900, 6 Ellemsea Ct, Lonsdale.
If you're in need of any suspension parts, shoot me a PM and I can help you out

Welcome to the forum. I bet Golfloon can sort you a VR6. I'd go 20vt though myself or maybe an ABF.
