NSW Best place to service my Polo in Sydney Inner West

Hi,

I just joined today and hope to learn more about being a Polo owner.

Does anyone know a reasonably priced place where I can get my Polo serviced in the Inner West (near Concord/Burwood)? I have just had an unpleasant experience at Barlowworld Five Dock where they now suddenly deny any knowledge of their 3-year free servicing promotion offered to me when I bought the car in August 2007. They want to charge me over $600 for a service and I think they are treating me like a "dumb little woman". I have only done 18,000 kms over 3 years and the car seems to be running just fine.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Do you have anything in writing at all from Barloworld?

Five Dock Automotive aren't a VW specialist, but I've heard good things about their service in general. They're just down behind Five Dock Indoor Sports centre, not too far from Concord.

There's also a VW-trained guy who does some work out of his garage at home on weekends, I'll see if I can find his details for you.
