Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • Hello

Hi guys, names Ben from melbourne.

Currently drive an evo 3 but am changing jobs and need something a bit more reliable.

Looking at golfs and hope i can find some good info on here. Like mk3 vr6s as a mate has one so if anyone has any good info for a new buyer let me know. Or of any good ones for sale.

    Cheers

    Welcome Ben,
I'm guessing your EVO is not standard, I know a few people with EVO's and they have been quite reliable over the years.

I've owned over 20 cars in my lifetime. Just sold an Audi A4 and currently have 2x Mk4 Golf's for daily transportation.
Was a little quirky at first going from a jap car to a VAG but now I wouldn't have it any other way.

Good luck with your search and again welcome to the forum.
Mk IV Golf GTI - BMP - GIAC chip, R32 wheels, KW coilovers, rear swaybar.
