Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

    Hi,

My name's Alen, bought the car about a year and a half ago at the auction. Could not have asked for a better ride, having driven V8 Mercs in the past, this car is a beauty. All rounder, engine is a great piece of engineering and has so much potential for modification.

I'll list some mods below I managed to get:

    - APR ecu upgrade, includes all the available programs

    - APR RSC 3" Performance Exhaust System, full Turbo Back Exhaust

    - 19x8'' VAULT ROCK Chrome Rims, w/ KUMHO Tyres

    - NEUSPEED Cold Air Intake w/ Race Extension

    - Angel Eyes head lights w/ LED lights, 2x NARVA Ultra Blue 5000 Kelvin
    bulbs

    - Chrome Side Mirrors & Chrome Door Handles

Performance wise, it's gained about 80 hp on top of its stock 200 hp and
    120lb-ft. of torque on
top of its stock 207lb-ft. of torque, and that's tested on a 93 Octane level of
    fuel, expect even
better results on BP's 98 Octane.

Below is a link of my baby's pics on carsales site, yes I am selling it really sad man. But I have no choice, unless I find a way to import it to Egypt and not have to pay a fortune on customs.
