    VIC New member saying hello....... "Hello" :)

    Hi everyone.

    I've been lurking these forums as a guest for a while and thought it was high time for me to sign up.

    I'm 29 years old, married with two children and have a 2007 R32 6 speed manual with sunroof, rear parking sensors, electrically adjustable seats, RNS510 Sat-Nav, window tinting and bluetooth module. The photo below was taken just after I purchased the car and before I had the windows tinted and my euro plates fitted.



    I've just bought my wife (today) a 2010 Polo TSI (1.2L turbo) in Flash Red with the optional sports package and carpet mats. We will be taking delivery of the car in the next six weeks or so (as we are awaiting settlement on our new house as we need a new garage to go with the new car....)



    I've just recently sold my 1979 RX-7 which I owned for 9 years. It was very difficult to sell but a young family and space considerations meant that owning the car was no longer practical. Fortunately I've got my R32........



    I hope that I can meet some of you in the future - perhaps on a cruise or something similar.

    Howdy Josh, mate selling the rex must have been heart breaking. Certainly a tidy looking specimen. Boy are they a fun car to drive.

      Yes - it was VERY difficult to come to the decision to sell it. I just didn't have time to drive it any more and also had nowhere to store it. My R32 is certainly a faster car - as well as being INFINITELY more comfortable and refined, but driving the RX-7 was a whole different experience.

      I would love to get another RX-7 one day - perhaps when the kids are all grown up......
